Who is Eligible to apply for the Young Golfer Grant?

This grant is open to all young golfers under the age of 25, regardless of their location and gender. We’re looking for individuals who demonstrate not only exceptional golf skills but also a strong academic background and a deep passion for the sport. We believe that well-rounded individuals make the best golfers, and we’re excited to support those who embody this ethos. Please note that we have separate grants available for girls and boys, ensuring that opportunities are equally accessible to all.

Young Golfer Grant Details

• • The grant offers a maximum of $500 USD per recipient (one for a boy and one for a girl).

• • The grant recipient is responsible for any taxes connected to the grant, if applicable in their home country of taxation.
    

Selection Criteria for the Young Golfer Grant

Our selection process is comprehensive and considers various factors to ensure we identify the most deserving recipients. We take into account:

• • Golf Skills: Your golf achievements, handicap, and dedication to improving your game.

• • Academic Credentials: A strong academic record that showcases your commitment to education.

• • Passion for Golf: A genuine love for the sport and a clear drive to excel in both golf and life.

• • Personal Character: Your sportsmanship, integrity, and potential to contribute positively to the golfing community.

To apply for the Greenfee.Golf Young Golfer Grant, please submit the following information:

• • Name, Address, Phone, and Email: Contact details for effective communication.

• • Golf Achievements: Provide a summary of your notable achievements and experiences in golf.

• • Handicap: Your current golf handicap.

• • Home club (the golf club where you currently are a member):

• • Golf coach: Name, email of your golf coach

• • Age, Gender, and Country: Your age, gender, and country of residence.

• • Application Letter: A letter detailing your passion for golf, your educational aspirations, and how this grant would assist you in reaching your goals.

Important Dates

• • Application Deadline: January 31, 2024 (Applications received after this date will be eligible for the following year’s grant).

• • Grant Announcement: Successful recipients will be notified via email by March 31, 2024.

By applying for the Greenfee.Golf Young Golfer Grant, applicants acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

• The grant is not transferable.

• Applicants’ personal information will be used solely for the grant selection process and communication purposes.

• Grant recipients are responsible for paying any taxes that may arise from receiving the grant.
